Consulting to C-level executives and their teams in the areas of strategic decision making and corporate planning;
Advising on strategic planning relating to security, technology, and procurement;
Managing business units for major financial investment firms and delivering for clients;
Working with government officials to find practical solutions and outcomes;
Working to strengthen democratic efforts and institutions in places like Pakistan and Iraq.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Ottawa and attended the Henley Business School MBA Henley on Thames, England. He is a Past President of the Canadian Club of Ottawa and he spends his downtime at home on his horse farm just outside Ottawa.
Amanda Smith is an administrative professional with experience supporting senior management and teams in medium to large corporations, including in tech and in R&D.
With expertise in corporate administration, stakeholder engagement and project coordination, she supports Martin Rust in the day-to-day management of the practice as well as leads the logistical components of client projects.
Amanda holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Algonquin College. She lives in the picturesque rural Ottawa Valley with her husband and their two young children.
