Martin Rust

Founder

For more than 25 years, Martin Rust has helped political and business leaders work with governments around the world to influence policy or provide valuable products and services.

His range of experiences includes:

  • Working to strengthen democratic efforts and institutions in places like Pakistan and Irak;
  • Advising senior Cabinet ministers, leading winning political campaigns; and
  • Helping big-brand C-level executives make important decisions.
  • He is known for his realistic approach to problem solving, negotiation skills, conflict resolution abilities and powerful messaging development.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Ottawa and has completed the Henley Business School MBA Henley on Thames, England. He spends his downtime at home on his horse farm just outside Ottawa.

Amanda Smith

Business Manager

Amanda Smith is an administrative professional with experience supporting senior management and teams in medium to large corporations, including in tech and in R&D.

With expertise in corporate administration, stakeholder engagement and project coordination, she supports Martin Rust in the day-to-day management of the practice as well as leads the logistical components of client projects.

Amanda holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Algonquin College. She lives in the picturesque rural Ottawa Valley with her husband and their two young children.
